Abstract

Preparare le persone alla vita attraverso una didattica orientata allo sviluppo delle life skills, fornisce una guida che permette agli individui di trovare la resilienza e la motivazione di cui hanno bisogno per vivere la quotidianità con coraggio, curiosità, fiducia, accettando l'incertezza e l'imprevedibilità del mondo di oggi come un valore e non solo come una condizione, e nemmeno come una minaccia. Il contributo dell'educazione fisica è fondamentale per l'educazione complessiva dei giovani e dei bambini e il suo valore educativo acquista tanto più rilevanza sociale quanto più i suoi effetti possono essere trasferiti anche ad altri contesti di vita.

Il presente lavoro si concentra, quindi, sull'importanza dell'educazione alle life skills e sul contributo offerto dalla Scuola e in particolare dall'educazione fisica per lo sviluppo delle abilità sociali, emotive e di pensiero negli studenti, al fine di preparare i giovani a diventare cittadini dinamici in grado di affrontare le sfide della vita quotidiana in modo positivo e adattivo.
