The practice of Mindfulness sees as its main objective the achievement of a maximum degree of awareness through which the individual should reach a state of well-being. In fact, by becoming aware and not critical of themselves and reality, individuals should be able to control and contain emotions, sensations and negative thoughts that can lead to suffering. This paper starts from the analysis of the characteristics of this particular practice and then analyzes the effects on cognitive functioning and the implications of an educational nature.
